Frozen Candles

You want to have a lovely dinner, something magical.   What is one easy way to create that illusion?   Candles, of course.

Yes, to make inexpensive drip-less candles from Dollar Store varieties, put them in the freezer for a few days.   No need to remove their packaging.   Then after they are thoroughly frozen, put them back into your candle drawer, unopened; and enjoy them when you want to produce a romantic, magical meal for your family or loved one. You'll be thrilled that messy drips are a thing of the past.

I first learned this tip from my older sister, Marjorie, who lives in Mississippi, where she has hosted her share of lovely dinners with burning candlelight. There is no need to pay more when you can conjure up an inexpensive candlelit meal, as my sister has proven.

Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."
